Wallpapered Powder Rooms

You either love it or hate it but either way it's back and here to stay.  Wallpaper is a great way to add character and personality to a room.  Wallpapering a room can be both a huge and difficult task, from choosing the style, pattern and colour to hanging, it's not for the faint hearted.  So why not put it into the smallest room in the house?  A room where you don't spend lots of time is a great place to put a bold and interesting print.  The powder room, toilet or dressing room is the perfect place to experiment. And it won't take long to get the job done or cost as much making that $420 per roll grass cloth wallpaper you thought you couldn't afford within reach after all.  I've collected a few ideas for you to get the creative juices flowing...

The organic chevron print above is beautiful in shades of duck egg blue and aqua and how can you go past the ever popular trellis pattern looking especially fetching paired with watermelon hues?

The detailed pineapple print in the image above looks so fresh against bright white panelling and the room below contrasts a classic styled motif with natural elements in the vanity and lighting.

This pattern is a favourite, almost mosaic in style and accentuated with a gold mirror and brushed stainless wall sconce lights it's a real mix and match but I love it!  So with a bathroom renovation on the horizon I'm thinking that wallpaper may be the point of difference that I'll be exploring to stand out from the crowd, watch this space....
