Here it is, as promised part two of 'The Great (and colourful) Outdoors!!! I thought I'd start this one with an outdoor space that is a little more subdued. Beautiful rendered grey walls are brought to life with red accents and there is a mix of different styles here, a bit of modern, a bit of traditional a just a touch of rustic.
Next up is a joyous almost fiesta setting. The red is pretty full on but kept grounded with the addition of white, notice only one table has the red tablecloth, the rest are plain white and rely on flowers to add colour. I really covet those paper buntings - they are on my must have list!
In the image below contrasting stripes add the interest and the stools pull the whole look together. I love all the varying textures, it gives a really casual ambiance. This is somewhere you could really relax, I can see myself enjoying this space with a Margarita and a good book….
I suppose you thought I was starting to tone the colour down…. WRONG!!! Check out this amazing outdoors area, the colour is amazing isn't it? This is a really energetic colour palette, not much relaxing going on here but loads of fun, laughter and chatting. A great area for the family to get together. The use of white allows your eye to rest without becoming too overwhelmed.
A final blast of colour to finish off part two. This really is a riot of colour and again I am loving the bunting. Pattern is introduced with lengths of fabric draped or wrapped around foam squabs so it's not permanent. You can change the fabric and change the theme. I hope you've become inspired to try a little colour outdoors!
