What’s your style? Lots of people say they don’t know …. that’s ok! Most peeps know what they don’t like so that’s a good starting point. From stating what you can’t stand you often are able to figure out what you do like even if it doesn’t get a specific style name! Who wants to live in a categorised box anyway!Read More
Through my search for a 'different' front door handle I have come across the unusual - not every one's cupa tea!
So if I was 'more into fashion' would I have known that Vittoria had collaborated with 8 Australian Fashion Designers to design 11 stunning take-away coffe cups!? Would I? I feel as if I 'missed out'! And this piece of information only came my way as I deviated from my favourite coffee shop in town (they went to Bali for RnR) & went to the local bakery. I ordered coffee and as I climbed back in the car my son says "you've got a tiger on your cup" - I reply "What are you saying Max?" I hadn't even noticed!
Pick you favourite - we love the dark florals, the cheetah and the flamingoes. Below are what I missed out on .... you may have missed them too.
NEXT year I will be waiting for 2015 designs and will be the first not the last to blog about them .... aahhh coffee tastes better wrapped in colour!
So on a recent visit to Coledale and Thirroul on the NSW South Coast we stopped for refreshments and a spot of sourcing. The piccies below are what we saw ... but there is so much more to spy.
The first stop was at Cocoon on Lawrence Hargrave Drive at Coledale. It is closed monday and tuesday so avoid the disappointment and venture here on the other days or you can always phone Karen on 0411 480 365 for an appointment . Cocoon sell the unusual, eclectic and primitive which includes furniture, gifts & recycled glass
Retro Wombat was next on our list of places to visit ....
Their aim is to stop usable things going to land fill … and help add a bit of old world charm to your life.
If you used to love it, own it but threw it away it will probably be here ....
Visit Retro Wombat at 228 Lawrence Hargrave Drive, Thirroul
