Holiday Home Decor

Not all holiday homes are the same

We {family} travelled down to Mornington Peninsula for a 4 day 70th birthday celebration. What a hoot! But regardless of all the beautiful food & delicious wine we were bowled over by our fantastic accommodation.

We don't write reviews, we just write about what we like. So with this in mind here are some words to describe 'Ti Tree Dunes'....retreat, relaxed, private, a true escape, 10 acres, coastal scenery and architectural masterpiece!  There you have it.

So on to the decor which of course is what we as decorators love to look at! And WOW is what I said!

The home {this definitely feels like a home} is beautifully decorated. It doesn't feel as if everything was bought at the same time, from the same shop. There's a relaxed, country coastal theme with some Mark Tuckey pieces, I spied some Bonnie & Neil linen along with coasters & other items I suspect were purchased locally at the gorgeous Sorrento shops.

The bed, the linen, the lights and OH that view! You could only be happy lying here :) By the way the TV was not turned on {why would you} but apparently there was Foxtel too {care factor zero}. The bedrooms were calm and relaxed with soft linen and nice decorative features. The rooms that were suitable for kids were decorated as if the owners lived there on weekends - with nice prints & toys ... no kid could complain.

So why didn't I use my own photos? The main reason is that I had people in all my shots eating & drinking wine making the house look messy. Jump on to stayz.com.au to check out the finer details, availability & dollar amount. This is also available on airbnb.com.au
