A bedroom doesn't ALWAYS have to be peaceful and relaxing… If it's somewhere you spend time, reading, chatting on the phone or perhaps it doubles as a workspace, you may like to jazz it up a little. I have found some inspiring bedlinen that may do the trick!
I have to start with this fabulous Crosses quilt from Aura by Tracee Ellis, the cross motif is lovely and the colour divine. This quilt could suit so many rooms from ultra modern to eclectic rustic as pictured below.
The quilt below is called Delphi and is by Kas (you can order Kas at Furniture One in Kiama), it's pretty bold and maybe you think it's a bit too girly for those of you who happen to share your room with a bloke however check out the lining… it's multicoloured triangles sooooo, when he's home flip it to the underside, when he's not looking flip it back to the flowery side - you'll both be happy!
Ok I'm going out on a limb with this one!!! How funky cool is this quilt? The addition of a chevron feature wall and some quirky accessories give added oomph! Eat your heart out Carmen Miranda! This beauty is from the Linen House Lifestyle range and is called Brasilia (of course)...
I couldn't resist another Linen House design - very cool for the younger set and I think teenagers will LOVE it. Also very current considering how 'mexican fiesta' is a big trend right now. Add a few masculine touches and it would be great for the fellas. This one is called Tulum and is also in the Lifestyle range.
You may like a bit more pattern and the Malika quilt from Morgan & Finch more than delivers. You could interpret this quilt in a number of ways, I like the eclectic look of this room but you could also head down the 'Bollywood' road and add lots more colour such as orange and turquoise which you can see in the design. Perhaps you could make it more Moroccan or even go retro.
The bold block colour of the Brunkrissla quilt from Ikea works well with lots of white. The feature wall in this room below is inspired by the colours in the quilt and green is added as a bright contrast.
