About

In 2013 Dwell was born to Tonya {me} and Sharlene Russell {smaller person with hat on}. We decided that rather than compete with one another we would join forces so formed a partnership that lasted for 3 years. Dwell South Coast is now owned and operated by Tonya with Sharlene in the background to be called on for Consulting, general back-up & to bounce ideas around with {everyone needs this!}.

On a side note the brains behind 'Dwell's' creation are like minded, design oriented colour consultants. Our backgrounds include visual merchandising, customer service, retail homewares and floristry coupled with qualifications in Colour Design, Interior Design, Education, Personnel Management and Floristry. Good match!

In conjunction with a steady stream of Clients on the South Coast {2017 started with force!} we have other ventures and interests that keep us busy {we don't mind glorifying busy!}.

Tonya and her family are part of the CareSouth Aunties Uncles Program.  They care for a gorgeous {inside & out} Ms 11 year old & can't believe how much they learn from her :)   Tonya volunteers for Share the Dignity in the Shoalhaven area .... collecting sanitary items for women in need, collections run April & August each year, all donation points are listed on Share the Dignity website. The campaign #itsinthebag - collecting filled handbags for women at Christmas time is a favourite project. Get in touch with Tonya on 0447186105 if you would like to know more.

The Wildflower Studio is where Shar now spends 95% of her time.  The Studio is situated in Kiama & creates fresh flower bouquets, posies, wreaths & flower crowns, with weddings & events being Shar's speciality. Learn about all things floral in one of the many Workshops held at the Studio, along with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint™ tips, tricks & techniques.
